SUMMARY:Art Walkers 2026 – CARNIVAL
DESCRIPTION:Art Walkers is an annual cultural project that celebrates creativity and community\, transforming the Lake Chapala region into a living gallery. Designed to promote the creation\, exhibition\, and appreciation of contemporary art\, it invites visitors to connect directly with artists and cultural spaces through an open and participatory experience. \nDuring this three-day event\, the streets of Ajijic\, Riberas del Pilar\, and San Juan Cosalá come alive with color and expression. Galleries\, studios\, and independent workshops open their doors\, offering the public a chance to explore\, engage\, and discover the work of local\, national\, and international creators across disciplines such as painting\, sculpture\, photography\, and printmaking. \nThe 2026 edition — themed CARNIVAL — will take place on February 6\, 7\, and 8\, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (with special hours in San Juan Cosalá from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). \nRicardo Sánchez will be participating in this vibrant celebration of art and culture\, painting live throughout the event at Elaine’s Studio\, located at Paseo de la Pesca #261\, La Floresta\, Ajijic\, Jal. (between the streets of Paseo del Mirador and Paseo de la Loma). He will be joined at this location by fellow artists Elaine Frennet and Joan Franklin\, who will also be exhibiting their work. Come say hello\, meet the artists\, and experience their creations up close in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. \nArt Walkers continues to grow each year\, strengthening the creative community around Lake Chapala and bringing together artists\, collectors\, and visitors in a shared appreciation of art and its power to inspire. To learn more about the event\, participating artists\, and locations\, visit the Art Walkers’ website. \n\nIMPORTANT: HOW TO GET THERE\nThe Google Maps location is for reference only and may lead you the wrong way. SUMMARY:Drawing With Perspective | Workshop at Galleria Dante
DESCRIPTION:This workshop explores the foundations of drawing perspective by hand\, helping participants translate three-dimensional space into compelling two-dimensional images. Through guided exercises and practical examples\, Ricardo Sánchez introduces perspective as both a technical tool and a creative language. \nParticipants will work with core visual elements — point\, line\, and space — to understand how structure\, depth\, and proportion interact within a composition. The session covers planar geometric projections and offers an accessible approach to perspective that supports architectural drawing\, urban sketching\, and expressive illustration alike. \nWhat you’ll explore: \n\nPoint\, line\, and space as essential drawing tools\nPlanar geometric projections\nAn intuitive approach to perspective and spatial depth\n\nThis workshop is suitable for beginners and intermediate artists\, as well as anyone interested in strengthening their drawing foundations. \nAll materials are provided. \nCost: $1\,500 MXN\nThis workshop may be taken on its own or as part of the two-session series\, with a special rate offered for participants attending both. \n👉 Reserve your spot: \nRegister via WhatsApp \nCall to register
